‘Piccioni in Orbit’ is a cosmic journey through one of the Maestro’s impossible dreams. Piero Piccioni’s music combines melancholy and a disruptive excess of joy that come together in one unicum. There is a point where it is no longer possible to distinguish one feeling from the other. Perceptually opposed emotions collide and become immediately symbiotic. They give life to an intimate unclassifiable place, that exists suspended in time and space, outside history and the Self.
