Piero Piccioni - Le Svedesi

Piero Piccioni alternates orchestral songs with a romantic flavour, swing-era jazz and lounge sketches with a samba twist, a perfect compendium of Piccioni's style of the early '60s.

Gian Luigi Polidoro signed only a handful of films, "Le Svedesi", "Il Diavolo" and "Satyricon" to name a few, poised between comedy and eroticism between the '60s and '80s.

"Le Svedesi" is an early example of travel comedy's "Italian style". The ordinary Italian man confronts a foreign country's way of life, providing the perfect ground for humour.
